How to Start Seeds Indoors

Join Marisha Auerbach for an in-depth class on how to start seeds indoors. We will visit Marisha's indoor set up for starting vegetable seeds indoors to view the equipment and discuss choices for setting this up. We will talk about the considerations for starting various types of seeds and when to choose to start indoors or outside. This is a hands-on workshop so participants will learn how to start seeds. We will also talk about up potting seedlings and everyone will get to experience this first hand. It is likely that there will be extra tomato seedlings for all participants to take home if they want to grow some in their own indoor grow room. This workshop includes handouts.

Marisha Auerbach has had a nursery for the past 25 years. She has managed a vegetable starts CSA program for the last 13 years. Over this time, she has made many mistakes and knows how to troubleshoot indoor vegetable growing. Join us to learn from her experience for success in your own home!
