This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

This workshop led by Ian Farmer will explore current possibilities for using AI in qualitative research – how human curiosity can combine with AI to recognise patterns, notice themes and generate deeper insights. It will cover visual and audio data analysis as well as deriving meaning from textual data. Cautions relating to ethics, bias and data privacy will be discussed, before considering where AI and qualitative analysis futures are heading. Examples of qualitative studies in which AI has been used will be shared.
