HRBRT & Hannah Macklin

Join us for a night of genre-bending music as we showcase two of Brisbane's most innovative and exciting artists.

First up is Hannah Macklin, a uniquely gifted vocalist and musician who blends elements of jazz, soul, punk, rock, and theatrics in her performances. With both contemporary and classical training, and a jazz degree from the QLD Conservatorium of Music, Hannah is a truly versatile artist committed to evolution and exploration.

Following Hannah is HRBRT, one of the most exciting acts to emerge from Brisbane's jazz and improvisational music scene. Described as "one of the musical gems of Brisbane and indeed Australia", HRBRT crafts a unique and futuristic blend of funk, fusion, neo-soul, and electronic music that truly makes odd meters groove and instrumental music sing. This will be their last performance as part of their residency at It's Still A Secret before they go back into studio mode to create new music.
