A recent Four Corners program focused on the future of the Australian mining industry in the context the important role rare earths will play in supporting our renewable future. In the story, Allison Britt, Director, Mineral Recourses, Geoscience Australia was quoted saying “critical minerals are absolutely essential to support the transition to renewable energy. It's absolutely ironic, but to save the planet, we are going to need more mines”.
