Event description

Would you like to tune into your senses and collaborate with AI on a music composition? Join this hands-on workshop with the artist Sandy Ma where you can explore the intersection of textiles, electronics and sound. Discover Sandy’s installations designed to be experienced through touch, inviting softness into our technological relationships.   

During this interactive session, you will have the opportunity to work with the artist’s custom-designed software and experiment with sewing and electronics, using conductive thread. Sandy will guide you through an activity involving textiles and circuitry, while inviting you to reflect on how computers have influenced your life.  

This session will be hosted in the gallery, in the heart of the DISTRACTION exhibition. All materials supplied. Suitable for ages 13 and above, and no prior knowledge or experience is required. Assistance will be available during the session.
