Thursday, September 4th | 6 PM | Our Lady of the Snows | $5 | Sign-up Required
Join us for a hands-on workshop where you'll craft your own batch of fire cider, a bold, immune-boosting tonic made with powerful herbs, roots, and spices. Guided by Alex a local SLC herbalist, you'll learn the history, health benefits, and herbal actions behind each ingredient, then bottle your own 32oz blend to take home. We’ll also sample Navire Apothecary’s signature Sweet Fire Cider and Spicy Fire Cider, giving you a taste of how different blends can support your wellness naturally. Perfect for beginners and herbal enthusiasts alike, this class is a vibrant way to welcome the season and strengthen your immune system.
Alex is your friendly neighborhood herbalist with roots in Italy, and a journey that’s taken her from New York and Hawaii to the Utah mountains she now calls home. Raised by a Haitian mama, she always felt connected to diversity, nature, and the healing power of plants. Alex’s path to herbalism began young, diagnosed with epilepsy at 11, she turned to natural living and never looked back. That journey inspired Navire Apothecary, where she crafts holistic skincare and teaches others how to care for themselves through the wisdom of plants. Whether Alex is biking or teaching a class on botanical remedies, she’s here to remind you: nature has your back, and don’t forget to drink your water. Let’s learn, grow, and heal together, one herbal step at a time.
