About the Class:
In this 2 hour workshop, Janet will demystify the income tax filing process for artists and creatives. We will discuss the process of identifying and accounting for the many diverse income streams, as well as the business related expenses that comprise the livelihoods of many arts practitioners. Tax legislation is always changing and we will address how those changes affect the various situations for artists and other self employed individuals. In addition to sharing insights on tax-filing best practices for artists, curators, and creative producers, we will also address questions pertinent to individual circumstances.
