Hey creatives, join us for this month’s FREE workshop on Networking 101!
This session will cover networking tips that will help you expand your networks as an artist and finding ways to collaborate with fellow creatives.
Led by Outloud’s team, it will provide artists with practical tips and strategies about networking:
- Acquire practical networking skills tailored to the unique needs of artists
- Ways to approach networking at events
- Enhance your ability to present and promote your work effectively.
- How to expand your network and connect with like-minded creatives and industry professionals.
- Gain Confidence in building your own community or 'Network'
The Independent Artist Series is a series of workshops run on the last Wednesday of every month about topics to help you have a sustainable career in the arts.
- Workshops will be held at Outloud headquarters, the Bankstown Arts Centre, from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
- FREE dinner will be provided (Vegan and halal options)

Getting to the Bankstown Arts Centre
Trains

Parking
Parking around the Arts Centre is limited. We suggest taking public transport whenever possible. Limited free four hours (4P) parking is available at the community carpark located along Olympic Parade. Also, Marion Street Carpark, Dale Lane Carpark, Brandon Avenue Carpark and Greenfield Parade Carpark are within walking distance to the Arts Centre.
Accessibility
Visitors with restricted mobility can use all public spaces at Bankstown Arts Centre. A lift is located in the foyer, to take visitors to any floor in the building. Entry to Arts Centre is via the front of the building at Dale Parade. There is a minibus drop-off zone at Dale Parade, located 25 metres from the front entrance. Accessible parking is also available at the Olympic Parade car park.
There I an accessible bathroom in the foyer, with a handrail and assistance button. Each of the bathrooms throughout the other parts of the centre have handrails. None have steps leading to them. Each can be accessed either directly or via the lift in the foyer.
