Northside Wines Indie Wine Sizzle

Indie wines, hot snags and a DJ on the decks. Your Christmas shopping just got a lot more fun. 

Northside Wines and Club Vino are teaming up for an afternoon of tastings, chats with the makers, a garden sausage sizzle and a charity raffle with plenty of prizes. Every producer here is independent: their own business, their own vineyard or winery, and their own name on the label. No corporate goon, just people who love what they make. We know you'll love it too. 

We'll be firing up a sausage sizzle and pairing every snag with a wine that makes it better.

Cam Smith from Triple R’s Eat It will host the raffle to raise funds for The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency, so bring your luckiest socks. Find your festive favourites, grab bottles to take home or order for delivery, and settle in with your mates.

What's going on?

Choose from either the 12pm or 3pm session, grab your tasting glass and work your way across the 15 producers and taste the 50+ wines on offer, all while having a yap with your new favourite wine makers accompanied by some very good tunes.

Once you've done that you can either buy your best bottles to take home, get delivered before Christmas or open one up and settle in.

The Wines

Did someone say Victorian wine? Producers are coming in from every corner of our beautiful state, from Heathcote to the Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, Macedon Ranges and more. Yes we know you could accuse us of having a Victorian bias but we didn't think it was appropriate to ask our South Australian friends to book an overpriced Jetstar flight the week before Christmas. 

Expect:

• Tastings with 15+ independent wine producers, showing over 50 wines

• Chats with the makers behind your next favourite bottle

• A DJ keeping the afternoon lively

• A garden sausage sizzle, with wine pairings from Vino Champ 

• A charity raffle to raise funds for VACCA, hosted by Cam Smith

• Delivery or takeaway on the day

Northside Wines opened its doors in 2019 out of a passion for the unique wines of Australia and a relaxed place to savor them.

Club Vino shares the same ethos and after a year of sold out events they've teamed up to refresh what was formerly Northside Wines Annual Christmas Market. Expect the same relaxed vibe and incredible wines. 

Come for the wines and people with plenty of personality, a few varieties you might not have tried before, and a lineup that will need serious unpacking
