All-Electric Bush Tucker with Bush to Bowl
Event description
Bookings essential.
This delicious, all-electric feast will be prepared using our new portable induction stoves at our corner of the Inner West Sustainability Hub, the Green Living Centre. In celebration of NAIDOC Week, this workshop will be led by Bush to Bowl, a social enterprise aimed at creating a healing space & platform for First Nations people by connecting to Country and their traditional foodways. This demo will focus on the use of native Australian ingredients and flavours and will recognise the history and culture of First Nations people through a bush tucker talk - all while you learn how induction stoves work and the benefits of transitioning from gas stoves to electric/induction stoves.
