Transformation of our transport systems to achieve net zero emissions mobility is both one of our greatest challenges, and one of our most powerful opportunities to achieve positive change. It is critical for the industry to take collaborative action to create change and help build a sustainable future for Australia.

Join us for the official launch of The Journey to Net-Zero - Inspiring Climate Action in the Australian Transport Sector and learn how our industry is stepping up to support decarbonisation.

Produced through an industry-first partnership between the Australasian Railway Association (ARA), Infrastructure Sustainability Council (ISC) and Roads Australia (RA), together with KPMG and Arup, The Journey to Net-Zero is a call to action that demonstrates how the transport sector can deliver more sustainable outcomes through innovation, ideation and collaboration. 

The Journey to Net-Zero sets out a series of proposed actions for government and industry that support a focus on place, drive emissions reduction, support investment in renewables and smart technologies, and promote engagement and collaboration across the transport asset lifecycle. 

The lunch event will feature a keynote address followed by a panel who will reflect on the findings of the report and, most importantly, set out practical next steps to accelerate our collective journey to net-zero. 

Please note registered attendees will receive an advance copy of The Journey to Net-Zero in the week prior to the event.

In keeping with the theme of this event, attendees are strongly encouraged to travel to the SCG via light rail to Moore Park on the L2 and/or L3 Randwick Line.

Refund policy

Booking requests submitted less than 48 hours before a Roads Australia event cannot be guaranteed unless you receive a confirmation from Roads Australia. Refund requests must be notified in writing email to events@roads.org.au Refunds requested more than 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund less an admin fee (3.3% + 88c per ticket). Refunds requested less than 14 days prior to the event will receive a full refund less 25% of the booking total. Refunds requested less than 7 days prior to the event will receive a full refund less 50% of the booking total. Refunds requested less than 3 days prior to the event will not be eligible for a refund due to commitments made with the venue. However, substitute delegates are welcome.
