Infinity Broke w/ The Exile Co + Team Building
Event description
Coming off the back of their recent east coast tour in support of their fourth album This Masthead, Infinity Broke do their last shows for the year. Fronted by prolific songwriter and producer, Jamie Hutchings (Bluebottle Kiss, Solo,The Tall Grass) on guitar and vocals, alongside Scott Hutchings (Drums/Guitar), Reuben Wills (Bass) and new member aux-drummer-percussionist Tyrone Stevens, This Masthead explores a collaborative approach to songwriting with half the album’s tracks finding their origins in group improvisation.
‘Infinity Broke's sound is created and enhanced by the two drum attack and guitar playing that defies all conventions, reminding me of the late great Rowland S Howard at times. 'This Masthead' is evidence of a band that is willing to explore and innovate and create something that evokes a huge range of emotions across its nine searing tracks. ‘- Backseat Mafia
Catch this seasoned quartet’s intoxicating brew of percussive flavoured noise, repetition, atmosphere and melody at The Petersham Bowling Club (downstairs) on Sat Nov 29th.
Special guests are The Exile Co who are described as ‘a unique take on garage rock n roll set against an Andalucian landscape of abandoned film sets and long distance surf guitars’. Opening proceedings are the compelling yet vulnerable trio Team Building.
