About Advanced Group Work
Advanced Group Work is an immersive 8-month program designed to help you bring out the best in teams and groups. It's built for the people who show up to lead, facilitate and organise others; for anyone whose work depends on what happens when people come together.
Since 2001 the program has provided a transformative learning experience for more than 500 graduates. In 2027, we’ll take the best of our program lessons from the past and present a new, updated program that is made for the complex and challenging times we’re living in.
Blending face-to-face gatherings, online workshops, experiential practice and reflection, the program brings Groupwork theory to life in a practical and deeply human way. We teach this craft by breaking down how to actually do it - in a learning space that is both classroom and laboratory. We bring the theory to life through experiential practice, peer learning, and reflection.
Our whole-of-person approach invites you to explore the skills and awareness needed for conscious and effective collaboration, facilitation and leadership alongside a supportive group of peers.
You’ll come away with greater self-awareness, practical tools and relational skills to bring back to your teams, communities and organisations - as well as a community of peers, connected through shared experience and learning.
Join us to discover what’s possible when groups really thrive, and to become someone who knows how to make that happen.
