On Saturday the 12th of June, as part of the Tropical Innovation Festival the Innovation in Health symposium will feature inspirational keynote speakers, subject matter experts and talks from innovators who are influencing the future of health.  

The event will connect health industry professionals, academics in health innovation, investors to explore how technology and innovation can be used to deliver quality, accessible and affordable care.  

Keynote Speakers

Dr Silvia Pfeiffer – CEO Coviu 
“Effective use of telehealth and other technologies in delivering new models of care”  

Dr Kelvin Ross – CEO KJR and Datarwe 
“How artificial intelligence, robotics and big data will change the way healthcare is delivered” 

Grace Lethlean – Chief Product Officer/Co-founder ANDHealth 
“Digital Health in the Australian and International Landscape”  

In the afternoon, ANDHealth, Australia’s leading digital health accelerator will conduct a deep-dive workshop into digital health to help increase awareness and understanding of different technologies that can be used to deliver healthcare and introduce the digital health journey for current and future entrepreneurs and innovators.  

The event will include panels and case studies of innovative medtech and digital health companies and products along with introducing some innovative new startups that are aiming to solve some of Australia’s biggest health problems. 

Case studies of health innovations include local digital health companies, goPassport (digital covid passport) and Sophus Nutrition (digital dietitian) along with fatiguem8 using iOT and AI to detect heart irregularities.
