Intermediate Wheel Throwing 10 Week Course

For those potters experienced in wheel throwing and who want to go to the next level: learn how to produce cylinders, bowls and lidded spheres.
The course is divided into blocks of three weeks concentrating on shape and increasing size (from 1kg, 2kg and 3kg). The focus will be on cylinders for the first 3-week block, bowls for the second 3-week block and the final 3-week block will be spheres and lids.
One piece will be selected for firing from each block of work.
Equipment needed: small mirror, bat mate, bats, enclosed footwear and an apron.
Note: that you will be using more clay aside from the block included in the course fee.
