JFA Purple Orange Disability Inclusion Project invites you to join us in celebration this International Day of People with Disability for a morning of community inclusion, connectiveness, learning and knowledge building.
When: Wednesday 3rd December
Time: 9:30am-12:00pm
Structure of event: 9:30am-11:00am DIT Foundations Course, 11:00am-12:00pm morning tea
Location: U City Adelaide- 43 Franklin Street, Adelaide 5000
Begin the morning participating in our Disability Inclusion Training- Foundations Course, learning from our engaging facilitators with lived experience of disability! Explore topics or recap your previous knowledge on topics such as:
The Social Model of Disability & Universal Design
Attitudes & Unconscious Bias
Language & Communication
Collaborating & Working with Community
After the training, end the celebration together as a group with a delightful morning tea and opportunity to mingle and connect with others. Morning tea includes coffee, tea and delicious assorted scones and pastries for all.
