Description

Join us for breakfast on this global day of celebration and focus on the women's rights movement.

The theme for International Women’s Day 2024 is Count Her In: Invest in Women. Accelerate Progress.

Kicking off with a Welcome to Country by Auntie Lisa Kelly and Tahahni Kelly, our keynote speaker Lorraine Gordon - Founder and Chair of the National Regenerative Agriculture Alliance - will respond to the theme of empowering women through creating economic opportunities with a focus on inspiring inclusion.

Following the keynote is a panel discussion, hosted by ABC Coffs Coast's Fi Poole, featuring:

  • Rhiannon Mitchell - Saltwater Sistas
  • Jenni Farrands - Bellingen High School Aboriginal Education Officer
  • Robyn Ashley - advocate for refugees + social worker in the Acute Mental Health Unit at Coffs Hospital
  • Magda Pomroy - Bellingen High School Student Support Officer

A buffet breakfast will be served.

The event takes place at Bellingen Memorial Hall
