International Women’s Day Iftar 2025: Accelerating Action for Gender Equality

Hosted by the Women's Auxiliary of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community ACT

Join us for a special International Women’s Day Iftar as we come together in faith and solidarity to reflect on the theme #AccelerateAction. As Muslim women, we are guided by the principles of justice, equity, and compassion embedded in our faith. Islam has long emphasised the dignity, strength, and rights of women, yet in today’s world, progress toward gender equality remains slow.

In this month of Ramadan as we gather to break our fast, we reflect on the role of women in our communities, the challenges we continue to face, and the responsibility we share in accelerating progress. This Iftar is an opportunity to connect, empower, and inspire one another; to share stories, discuss meaningful action, and strengthen our commitment to advancing gender equality in all aspects of life.

Let us come together in the spirit of unity and purpose, drawing strength from our faith and each other. Through our actions, our voices, and our unwavering resolve, we can #AccelerateAction and move toward a future where justice and equality are not just ideals, but realities for all.
