Intro to Stamp Carving
Event description
Whether you're an artist seeking unique and personal stamp options or a business owner looking to customize packaging, carving your own stamps is a creative and rewarding process. You can quickly whip up a symbol for your planner or spend days carving out an intricate design. In this introductory course, we'll explore the tools, materials, safety considerations, and useful tips and tricks to get you started in building your custom stamp collection.
All materials are included. You are welcome to bring simple designs of your own to carve or use the provided options and inspiration. Please note that fine lines and intricate details may be challenging and frustrating for new carvers. We strongly recommend starting with silhouettes and general shapes before tackling more ambitious projects.
The tools we use for carving are sharp. While we will cover safety and best practices, injuries can still occur.
This is an 18+ class. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE A WAIVER ON FILE. We will have hard copies available on site. Please also refer to our parking and accessibility information.
