Introduction to Cyanotype

In this one-day workshop with resident artist Shelley Simpson we will be creating cyanotypes, a camera-less photography technique that uses sunlight to develop beautiful blue and white images.  

Using botanical material gathered from the grounds of Corban Estate, we will explore a variety of approaches to this technique, and how we can work with sunlight, water and the environment in different ways to create evocative sunprint artworks.
