    Event description

Are you keen to grow you own chemical-free fruit, vegetables and herbs at home? Organic gardening is the art of growing anything you plant in a yard or garden without the use of any pesticides or synthetic fertilizers. At this workshop you’ll learn the basics of organic gardening including:

    • How to improve soil health. Plants grow well and have fewer diseases in healthy soil as it retains nutrients, moisture, is full of living organisms and is easy to dig in.

    • Making your own seed raising mix

    • How to save seeds and propagation methods

    • Natural pest management through the use of non-toxic applications

    COVID Safe Plan

MCSL has a Covid Safe plan. Current NSW Health regulations will be observed. All equipment will be sanitised before and after each workshop. Hand sanitiser and hand washing facilities will be provided.

These sustainable workshops are funded by Campbelltown City Council with the goal of increasing environmental stewardship within the Campbelltown community.
