Description

Join our Makerspace Staff for an introduction session to learn how to work with various metals, create precise, permanent designs and turn metal pieces into beautiful, personalised items using the new xTool F2 Ultra laser engraver at the Parks Makerspace.

In this session you will learn about how our xTool Ultra is able to be used to directly engrave or emboss on to metal, there will be demonstrations of the software and the safety aspect of this process, as well as the best types of metal to use and how creative you can get with this system.

This will be beginner friendly, and participants will leave with a personalised sample by the end of the session.
