Back by popular demand, is Theodore Payne Foundation's introductory class to help encourage people to think global and plant local. Learn about our unique history, topography, biomes, and plant communities.
What are California native plants? Where do they grow? Why are they important? Join us online as we discuss the benefits of California native plants and their relationship with pollinators, people and place.
This class will be held online and recorded. Zoom login instructions will be included in the reminder emails. Registered students will have access to a recording of the class for 2 weeks after the live event.
Lou Avery Douglas is the Community Engagement Manager at Theodore Payne Foundation. He is passionate about the relationships between native plants and wildlife, and loves to introduce newcomers to the complex ecological webs all around them.
