IP Seminar Series – Seminar 2: Trade Marks and Brand Protection

HunterNet members are primarily Hunter-based manufacturers, many of whose businesses are underpinned by key intellectual property (IP).  It is critical that businesses take stock of their assets, consider what intellectual property rights they own and how to best protect those rights.  This series aims to familiarise the audience with typical IP rights in manufacturing businesses, acquaint them with the protections available and how to secure those protections, and explain the potential consequences of a failure to adequately protect their IP.

About ‘IP Seminar Series’

HunterNet in collaboration between SWS Lawyers and Ange McDonald, barrister, are hosting a series of seminars designed to inform members so that they can more capably protect their IP assets.

The series will cover:

26 March 2024: Overview of Intellectual Property Rights – Recognising, Exploiting and Protecting IP

21 May 2024: Trade Marks and Brand Protection, and

20 June 2024: Patents, Designs and Confidential Information
