    Ippio Payo (Munich) + Peter Newman (Blue Mountains)

    Sunday 14th April 7pm sharp

    Touring in support of their latest album “Talking Birds”, this is Ippio Payo’s first time on Australian shores.  Expect instrumental compositions that melt into a polyrhythmic web, weaving hypnotic narratives infused with space rock and jazz.

    Peter Newman is an Australian musician and artist who performs using live electronics. His music has been described as "epic, sweeping digital post-rock, like My Bloody Valentine stretched, twisted, filtered and layered into a dreamscape..." (Shannon O'Neill). Peter first shared a bill with Josip in Munich in 2010, and has previously performed with Damo Suzuki and The Holy Soul in Australia and Germany.

    This is an 18+ Show.

    Getting to The PBC! Access to the club and main stage is via 12 stairs at the front of the venue. We are not wheelchair accessible currently but we are working on it! There is free, untimed parking on the avenue and Brighton Street and drop off / pick up is available via our driveway.

    Access to the green room / downstairs stage is via 15 stairs down onto the ground level. If you have special access needs please email or call us ahead of time and we will do our best to plan with you and help you into the club.
