Isaac Power

Currently based in Switzerland, saxophonist Isaac Power returns to JMI for a special performance with some of his favorite musicians.

Saxophonist Isaac Power has worked with some of the world's top jazz musicians, including Shai Maestro, Dick Oatts, Alex Sipiagin, James Morrison, Luis Bonilla, Will Vinson, and Jihye Lee. Originally from Brisbane, Isaac has toured extensively across Europe and Australia with ensembles such as the World Youth Jazz Orchestra, the James Morrison Jazz Orchestra, and the Australian National Youth Jazz Orchestra. Drawing inspiration from legendary artists like Sonny Rollins and Coleman Hawkins, as well as more recent and contemporary musicians, Isaac is quickly becoming a sought-after saxophonist in the European jazz scene.
