FACILITATOR / HOST / MODERATOR
Your host for the evening is the effervescent Sarah (Mojo Mingle's founder). She loves meeting new people and has been passionately hosting social gatherings since 2015. She will ensure you feel welcome and included throughout the night. Her role is to facilitate connections between guests by getting to know you; so you arrive as strangers, and leave having made new friends.
BONUS: Sarah is also a matchmaker and will be keeping an eye out for potential matches for her premium clients.
PRE-EVENT PREPARATION
Prepare two truths and one lie to share with the group for the ice-breaker activity. This helps other people feel more comfortable around you as they'll learn interesting things about you to enquire about later one. Ice-breakers help veryone overcome the fear of starting conversations with strangers... allowing you to easily slip into chit chat after we've all shared our stories.
Watch the video below to learn more about playing two truths and one lie. NOTE: Sarah doesn't condone lying in real life... just when playing this game :)
REGISTRATION
7pm Arrive at the restaurant, and tell the staff you are with Mojo Mingle (Sarah's dinner group) OR look for our table sign.
You'll be warmly welcomed by Sarah and introduced to one or two other guests.
DINNER
Browse the menu (here) before arrival to save time when making our orders. Your host will ensure you have plenty to talk about during the dinner by providing you with conversations starter cards; a wonderful way to learn interesting facts about each other.
Note: Mojo Mingle scouts all venues and activities prior to listing them as events to ensure a quality experience for all. This venue caters for most special diets. Please phone the venue if you want to double check (ph: 9620 3335).
