Jazmourian Ensemble: Garden Concert at Golden Vale

Jazmourian Ensemble and special guests Harry Howard (baroque flute) and Alina Farisa (guitar) present this spring garden concert in the beautiful Persian-styled gardens at Golden Vale Homestead, a historic National Trust property which is a hidden gem.
The Jazmourian Ensemble, a renowned Iranian-Australian duo, is Ensemble-in-Residence at the ANU School of Music. Their compositions unite east and west in an uplifting and vibrant musical language - just perfect for imbibing the spring colours and scents of Golden Vale's gardens while you listen.
They will also be joined by talented students from their intercultural ensemble program whom they coach as part of their residency - showcasing the creative flair of these young musicians.
The garden concert will last for 75 minutes, followed by complementary tea, coffee and Persian hand-made cakes, enjoyed in the gardens. A marquee is available in case of inclement weather. Chairs are provided; you are also welcome to bring a blanket if you prefer to sit on the ground.
Getting to Golden Vale: we encourage you to take advantage of our free shuttle buses from the Sutton Forest Inn carpark (7 minutes away) to assist with ease of property access. The buses will be travelling to Golden Vale from 12 midday, and returning from 3pm. The Sutton Forest Inn will be open for coffee, tea and meals from 11.30am.
If you need to drive, we encourage carpooling, and early entry to be ready and seated in the garden by 12.45.
Those driving are encouraged to arrive via the Illawarra Highway end of Golden Vale Road, being the safest direction of entry. Golden Vale is the first driveway on the right past Penny Lane Farm
