JBI LIVE WEBINAR - Searching for Studies: Basics of a Systematic Search
Event description
A systematic review starts with a systematic search of the literature.
This free JBI LIVE webinar will get you started on developing search methods for a review of any kind, starting with database selection, the use of controlled vocabulary terms and keywords, along with database syntax for truncation and proximity searching. It will cover how to translate a search into a second database.
We will deconstruct a published search strategy to show you how to build each component of your question, using two of the most commonly searched databases: Medline (Ovid) and CINAHL (Ebscohost).
