Jeans Handbag Workshop

In this workshop, we upcycle an old pair jeans into a lined handbag, with internal and external pockets. We teach you how to cut and re-sew the jeans, then make a lining (with pocket/s!) to create your own unique handbag. 

All materials are provided, but you're welcome to bring your owns jeans to transform if you like.

Basic machine sewing experience is required, and you can bring your own machine or use one of ours. 

Our workshops: Here at Upcycle Newcastle we use circular economy principles. This means we will be using recycled and reclaimed fabrics and haberdashery items for our workshops. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
