Jeans Tiered Skirt Workshop

This two session workshop covers a simple technique for transforming a pair of jeans and other clothing/fabrics into a skirt. We will begin with the top of a pair of jeans that fits you, then add layers of fabric (often sourced from other clothing items) to create a short or longer soft skirt. 

We provide all materials, but you are also welcome to bring your own jeans and/or other clothes and fabrics.

Basic sewing machine skills are required for this workshop. We will also be using overlockers (no experience needed). You can bring your own machine, or use one of ours.

Our workshops: All of our classes and workshops are created using circular economy principles. This means we love using many recycled and reclaimed fabrics and haberdashery items for our projects. We are deeply passionate about diverting textile waste from landfill and we do this through upcycling.
