ABOUT JESS SPINA

Since her first performance at the Brisbane Jazz Club when she was 9, Jess has earnt a reputation as one of the finest vocalists in Australia. At only 21 years old, she placed 3rd in the prestigious National Jazz Awards held at the 2020 Wangaratta Festival of Jazz and Blues, and in 2019, she performed at the Siena International Jazz Festival in Italy. Most recently, Jess was nominated for the 2022 Freedman Fellowship Awards amongst the vanguard of Australian jazz musicians. Jess has cherished working alongside renowned Jazz musicians such as Becca Stevens, Kristin Berardi, Elly Hoyt, Kenny Werner, James Sherlock, John Hoffman, Tom Burlinson, Henry Cole, and Miguel Zenon, amongst others.
