Join Jax Moon Magick and guest speaker Alex Mumby for  A Journey Through Sound"  

Journey through Sound is a collaboration dreamed up between Alex Mumby (Sound healer, Holistic Wellness Coach, Meditation Teacher, and neuroscience enthusiast and Jacqueline Lastra (Jax) a Yoga teacher, hypnotherapist and transformational coach, to help women connect to themselves and each other through the power of Sound. 

Join us for an evening of movement, sound, connection and meditation. 

What to expect 

A gathering of like minded women in circle to connect to each other, their bodies own intelligence through movement and sound. With the power of sound we are taken on a journey through space and time to the sound of delicate sound of crystal, Tibetan singing bowls and chimes whilst moving through deep Yin Yoga poses.

You will be guided through a grounding meditation to settle your nervous system, together we will set our intentions and then journey through a slow and deep 90min Yin yoga practice. You can expect long and delicious holds to rinse and release stagnant energy, followed by 20 min yoga Nidra to the sound of various singing bowls and chimes.

There will be moments to pause and journal so please BYO journal and favourite pen. (Don't worry if you forget - We've got you).

Join us we guide you through a deep and restorative practice to bring you back into your blissful state. Yoga in itself is the journey through the self to the self. Through the practice of yoga and combined with healing sound frequencies help to restore and rejuvenate your nervous system.

You can expect to hear various instruments and different sound sequences to target the suppressed/repressed energy. Alex uses specific instruments and protocols which will harmonize and balance the autonomic nervous system and your whole being, not just the symptoms (of our tired frazzled nervous systems). 

The beauty of receiving sound therapy paired with Yin Yoga is that it is a non-invasive way of allowing yourself to notice any sensations and emotions that surface. You will be invited to set an intention or have your mind's eye on what you wish to release or target, you will direct the frequencies to that area or issue.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATORS 

Alex is a Holistic Wellness Coach, Meditation Teacher, Sound Healer and neuroscience enthusiast, she has brought together her wisdom, experience and passions to create her own Practice. 

She offers a safe space for curious individuals where connection can be made and their systems can regulate and rejuvenate. 

Jax is an Senior Yoga Teacher, Hypnotherapist and transformational coach. She strongly believes in the healing power of Yin yoga combined with the deep resonance of signing bowls to realign our nervous systems as well as the power of the Feminine.

• Yoga mat
• Towel or shawl to cover bolster (alternatively you can hire one for $3)
• Water bottle 
• Journal and your favourite pen 
• Comfortable clothing recommended
