hey what’s up it’s joe from jpeg artefacts here- we’re doing a show at Miscellenia on September 1st which is a thursday btw. Armlock are the headliner who r truly one of my fav bands - imo there’s a way indie rock should sound… somewhere between yo la tengo and elliot smith n i think armlock nail that. To me it is perfect indie music. great lyrics too.. especially love “auto-reply/fan on the blink/wind in the foreground/panicked in the corner store”. can’t wait to see them i know every word on their album.

Marara is also playing. Mara makes unreal music to me… it’s like if someone told you their most personal truths thru five layers of hanging sheets.. obscuring the detail… but the honesty remains. idk man im not a writer but it just is gorgeous. delicate and powerful… soaked in truth. come to the show.

Darcy Baylis is also playing a very special acoustic set. not sure if it’s ever been done? Darcy produces for Wicca Phase Spring Eternal and plays in the band Resenter. he’s also a day one friend of mine and his records have scored my life in a way that will turn out to be synonymous with my youth imo. all his music is gorgeous… don’t miss the chance to see him perform in a way he has never done before and may never again.
