Event description

Join us at Kaarta Koomba (Kings Park) this NAIDOC Week for a special puppetry workshop. Guided by Nyoongar educator Rickeeta Walley and Puppetry Artist Rachel Riggs, participants will become immersed in the magic of shadow puppets and Nyoongar dreaming stories. Create your own puppets, explore shapes and movement with light and shadow, and use your imagination to tell your own kwobitj (great) stories.  

Date: Thursday 10 July and Thursday 17 July  

Time: 10.00AM – 11.30AM  

Location: The Green Room, Kings Park Education  

Cost: $18 per child | Supervising adult has free entry

Suitable for children aged 5-12 years  

Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times
