Junior Ranger - Park Protectors
Event description
Junior Rangers Saturday 31 May
Calling all young nature explorers! This is your chance to become a Junior Ranger and join the first session at David Fleay Wildlife Centre in our exciting new monthly series for kids aged 8–12. Each Junior Ranger event is packed with fun, nature-based learning designed to spark curiosity and build real conservation skills — whether it’s learning how rangers protect our parks, spotting wildlife signs, or creating your own ranger badge. This first session sets the scene for a whole season of outdoor adventures. Throughout the program, you’ll meet new friends, complete fun challenges, and earn a special badge as you grow your skills and knowledge about Queensland’s wild places. Come ready to explore, learn, and have a great time in nature—no experience needed, just your love for the great outdoors!
Please note that these sessions do not include admission to the park for participants outside of the session or for family members.Â
Proudly supported through funding from the Queensland Department of the Environment, Tourism, Science and Innovation, this Junior Ranger session is free for participants. To help bring more free programs to connect children with nature we gratefully accept donations for those who are able to contribute.Â
