    Event description

Port Environment Centre has loaned a collection of Kaurna tools and cultural materials, created by James Tylor, to the Marine Discovery Centre to use in their Cultural Education Space (Kaurna Meyunna Wodli). Their Cultural Educator, Karno Martin, shares the stories of these cultural materials with all visitors to the centre.

The Kaurna Meyunna Wodli is an interactive cultural education space that highlights the relationship that Kaurna people have with the Adelaide Plains and the coastal environment.

Port Environment Centre would like to invite you to join us at the Marine Discovery Centre to experience this collection of tools up close and to learn more from their Cultural Educator.

You'll also get to go on a tour of the Marine Discovery Centre with their Marine Scientist, including aquariums featuring local SA marine creatures and interactive models and displays on our coastal environment and sustainable practices. The Marine Discovery Centre has been providing learning experiences to South Australian school students and the community since 1997.

    On Saturday 19 November, 12pm - 2pm
