Kids holiday clay workshop

This is an engaging introductory social workshop for your child to get to experience working with high quality clay.

During this workshop your child will learn the essentials of pinching, shaping and joining clay and will add colour to their piece using underglazes.

This is a truely immersive experience where their imagination can run wild. Their clay may become a bowl, planter, mug, creature, or something else. This workshop will teach kids how to make a masterpiece from scratch!

What will your piece look like? It will be a 'perfectly imperfect' piece handmade by you!

At the end of the workshop we will let your piece dry, we will glaze and fire it and notify you when your piece is ready to collect and treasure forever!

Age: 8-15 years

Class duration: 90 minutes

Attendees required: minimum of 6 kids and maximum of 12.

Time frame from collection: 4-6 weeks 

What to bring: snacks and a drink, clothes that can get a bit dirty, enclosed shoes, any kids clay 'pinch pot' ideas!

* We have a parents chill zone for any who wish to stay for the duration of the workshop. 

* Parents also have the option to purchase a ticket and join create their own creation along side their child!
