Kids' Honey Workshop | Spring 2025
Event description
The kids will be buzzing about this fun and interactive workshop, hosted by our friends at Maya Sunny Honey! Designed for curious minds and nature lovers alike, these spring school holiday sessions give little ones the chance to discover the magic of bees and the ooey-gooey goodness they create, through hands-on activities and a whole lot of sticky fun.
This experience is recommended for children aged 4-12 years, with one adult welcome to join and assist each child during the session.
What to Expect?
A buzzing introduction to the world of bees and why they're so important to our planet.
Hands-on fun extracting honeycomb and learning how honey is made.
The chance to create and take home a delicious jar of honey.
A relaxed, outdoor setting under The Patio in The Grounds Garden.
Please note that bookings are essential and places will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis, so please act quickly to make sure you don't miss out.

Please only buy the tickets you need so more children can join the fun!
This experience is suitable for kids aged 4-12 years. We know every child is different, so use your best judgement to decide if this activity is right for your little one.
Tickets are only required for children; supervising adults accompanying their child do not need a a ticket.
This isn't a drop-off service and parents must stay within The Grounds of Alexandria while your child is participating in this experience.
Can't make it? Refunds are available up to 72 hours before the event.
Refunds cover the face value of the ticket but not booking fees, as these are charged by Humanitix. For details, check out their website.
Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of your session, and check in with our staff in The Patio.
Parking and transport in the area can be challenging, so please allow plenty of travel time.
This event is happening outdoors, undercover, so rain or shine, it's happening!
Food and drinks are available from The Cafe, The Garden, and The Potting Shed and we strongly recommend that you make a reservation ahead of time to skip the wait!
