Sensory Session in Nature~OCEANIA 🌊🐋🦀🐚 

For Children aged 6months to 12 years 

Facilitated by Kate. 

Completely eco friendly nature discovery for children in beautiful natural surroundings. Facilitated by a qualified educator, our sessions are engaging, nature based, and designed to encourage calm and mindfulness. 

We are not a fast paced noisy messy play! Our sessions are designed with care to create spaces to connect with nature and discover mindfulness techniques as well as fostering that flow state of play. 

Discovery stations include:

Water run with water wheel and coconut scoops  

“Beachside” Sandy water tray play with starfish and shells   

“Ocean Potions” eco friendly fizzy potions 

 
“Oceania” learning station with natural specimens by Our Earth Life 

“Reefside” felt small world play 🪸

“Sandy Toes” Themed natural scented play dough station 

Nature Weaving

Ocean themed sensory bin with scented filling

Our freestanding art easel with marine blues tempera paint

Eco watercolour painting 

Our natural salt dough creating 

Themed Wooden toys 

Special Bubs only tray ~sand and water for messy play

 Babies area with calm down bottle, shakers, instruments, wooden toys, ocean themed books, silks and ribbons

We finish with some nature mindfulness exercises 🐚

Parents are encouraged to hold space for children to fully engage in the activities and assist where needed. Some small parts are present as they exist in our natural spaces also. 
Our facilitator will be available to assist with any questions and to help guide mindfulness activities. 

We use all natural biodegradable tools and materials. Our paints are plant based pigments and vegan, non toxic and biodegradable.

 Please bring a snack and drink bottle for your child and please dress for mess! Some pigments although natural may still stain. There is also water play so children may get wet.
