Kids School Holiday Workshop: Create a Magical Water World

In this workshop participants will be able to create their own (waterless) underwater world using paper silhouettes, cellophane and of course fairy lights!!! If there is time they will also have the opportunity to create some underwater inspired gift cards! This creation makes the perfect battery powered nightlight.

All materials supplied in class

Students will need to bring snacks and water for breaks.

Students doing both workshops on the same day can stay until the end of the second workshop, which finishes at 3pm, provided they have their own lunch and drink bottle.

This workshop is subsidized thanks to funding from the Creative Communities Scheme, so you only pay $15 per person (with a booking fee of .75c) instead of $36! Whoo Hoo!!

Running Tuesday 9th July.9:30-12pm, this workshop will take place in the space behind the Ōtorohanga iSite (21 Maniapoto Street) Entrance to the workshop will be off Wahanui Crescent.

Operating under the umbrella of the Ōtorohanga District Development Board, the Ōtorohanga Creative Conduit is bringing creativity to the community via workshops, events and exhibitions.

The kaupapa of the Ōtorohanga Creative Conduit is to connect communities together, specifically the creative community with the larger community to build constructive relationships for creative people and create pathways to creativity for the community.

We believe creatives should be paid fairly for their skills so the workshops are priced to cover their hours, materials and venue and any extra made is then put back into the kete to reduce the costs of future workshops, to provide free places in some workshops or to put on free events for the community
