School Holiday Workshop – Mini Abstracts for Kids

Let the imagination thrive in this workshop as artists explore the world of abstract art creating mini imaginary mixed media landscapes, mounting our favourite on a wooden panel, creating cards of kindness and a miniature canvas.  This introduction to abstract art will look at composition and layering using paint, dry media and collage materials focusing on the process of creating.

All materials supplied in class

Students will need to bring snacks and water for breaks.

Students doing both workshops on the same day can stay until the end of the second workshop, which finishes at 3pm, provided they have their own lunch and drink bottle. 

This workshop is subsidized thanks to funding from the Creative Communities Scheme, so you only pay $15 per person (with a booking fee of .75c) Whoo Hoo!!

Running Wednesday 2nd October 9:30-12pm, this workshop will take place in the space behind the Ōtorohanga iSite (21 Maniapoto Street) Entrance to the workshop will be off Wahanui Crescent.
