Event description

🌿 Kindred Calm – Free Monthly Yoga & Connection

You spend so much time caring for others. This is a space that cares for you.
Whether you're navigating complex caseloads as a support coordinator, providing hands-on care as a support worker, or holding space as an informal carer or allied health professional; this gentle, trauma-informed yoga session is here to support you.

Kindred Calm is a free monthly yoga class designed for people in the disability sector who give so much of themselves to others. After the session, we’ll gather over tea and biscuits for relaxed connection, (No pressure, just a chance to meet likeminded individuals in a calm, supportive space).

What to Expect:

  • A 60-minute slow flow vinyasa yoga class (trauma-informed & beginner-friendly)

  • Practices to soothe the nervous system, ease tension, and ground the body

  • A warm, welcoming environment — no experience or flexibility needed

  • Optional 30-minute morning tea afterward to chat, connect, and unwind

  • Hosted by Brittany Atlas (Blue Kite Support Services), a certified yoga and meditation teacher with over 8 years of experience. Brittany specialises in trauma-informed, nervous-system-sensitive yoga, including creative vinyasa, restorative, and pre/postnatal practices.
