We’re gathering at Stock & Brew Café for an afternoon of coffee, creativity, and golden transformation. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn the ancient Japanese art of Kintsugi—repairing broken pottery with golden seams that highlight, rather than hide, the cracks. Each piece becomes a living metaphor for resilience and transformation.

Whether you come with a friend or on your own, you’ll leave with:

✨Creative reflection, soulful conversation, and a keepsake you'll cherish to take home.

✨ A deeper understanding of the power of turning wounds into wisdom -A beautiful balance of solo focus and relaxed, meaningful connection with others.

Note: This workshop is an adaptation of Kintsugi—we’ll use gold leaf sheets, and mica powder with a modern adhesive rather than traditional lacquer.

Your cherished pieces can be celebrated - but for your first experience, we recommend bringing a piece that's not of deep sentimental value. If you don’t have one to bring, ceramic pieces will be available for a small fee.

Like any technique, Kintsugi takes practice, and this first attempt is all about learning the process.

We recommend bringing a small-to-medium ceramic piece (not porcelain) to work with — it's the easiest and most rewarding to repair.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a piece — we’ll happily provide one for you for a small materials fee on the day of the workshop.

Because sometimes, what’s broken isn’t the end—it’s the beginning of something even more beautiful.
