Where (and how!) to meet other writers and published authors — in person and online,
How to use social media to create and maintain real connections, and
Tips for reaching out to professionals when researching your work.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR
Georgia Cabelle is a young Boorloo (Perth)-based writer and alumni of the Australian Writers Centre and Curtis Brown Creative. An avid member of several write clubs - including some based in Los Angeles and London - and co-host of a podcast, her writing explores deep human questions and contemporary issues based in historical settings. When she is not untangling plot points, she enjoys swimming, bike riding, headbanging to classic rock and playing cards with her family. “What Destroyed Oliver Ocean?” is her first novel project, with research taking her to LA - which, as an Old Hollywood nut, quenched her thirst for all things historical, glamorous and scandalous.
