La Hattam in concert with associate artist, pianist Nerissa Pearce.
In April 2023, soprano Janet Hattam burst into the Murray Bridge Performing Arts Centre and made known the existence of 'Art Song'. As you would expect, minds were blown.
Replete with beautiful acoustics this recital of sorts, will be held at the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery (acclaimed as one of the premier regional galleries in SA) on Sunday October 15, at 2pm.
Songs of love and laughter is the perfect combination of music and literature featuring La Hattam's esteemed colleagues Poulenc, Debussy, Liszt, and Britten and will entice, and beguile. Poetic text and comedy song are woven skillfully together in this musical journey.
Sides will split as you fall in love with the beauty of art song.
