Join our brand new Watercolour Workshop Program: LabVisions! 🎨
LabVisions is a brand new creative program which aims to meld the fields of creative arts and health and medical research 🔬
Take part in 4 weekly workshops where you'll learn the essential watercolour skills you need to tell your research story as an artwork.
4 Week Program
By the end of the 4 weeks, you'll have learned all the watercolour skills you need and you'll leave with a finalised (gorgeous!) artwork!

No worries! No painting or art skills needed.
LabVisions workshops are an opportunity for downtime. Let go for an hour each week and enjoy the creative atmosphere, good vibes and enjoy a space to be expressive.
Your artwork can show a different perspective and help to creatively represent your research. It can even help people visually connect and better understand your research which you can use for research needs and journal articles.
Meet your hosts!
Hollie McLachlan + Dayna Perez
As natural history illustration practitioners, Hollie and Dayna aim to connect the scientific field with the creative field of visual art to aid in the communication of scientific research.
- Hollie has a vet nurse background, loves medical and animal illustration, and loves to inspire a new perspective on people’s research through a creative eye.
- Dayna has passion for the natural world and has spent the majority of her life making art. Using a combination of traditional art and digital technologies, Dayna loves to visually explore the intricate anatomy of wildlife, the interactions between organisms and their environments, and the grand processes that shape our planet and beyond.
