Story Soirée: a Melbourne Open Mic Event by Words of a Feather & The Provocative Inklings

Join us for a night of provocative, evocative readings brought to you by Words of a Feather and The Provocative Inklings!
All are welcome to put their name in the hat to share writing and stories in any format. All are also welcome to simply enjoy a wonderful night of readings.
The theme? BEGINNINGS.
Story Soirées are held quarterly. This one (our very first!) will be held at a top-secret rooftop in the CBD. The exact location will be revealed to ticket holders closer to the date!
Bookings are essential.
Structure:
6 - 7pm: Doors open. Mingle and settle down for general introductions. Put your name into the reading hat (completely optional)! There will be small group writing games to kick off!
7 - 8pm: Doors close, and the Story Soirèe begins in earnest!
8 - 8:30pm: - The soirée concludes with a message from Words of a Feather and Provocative Inklings, and time to chat with new and old writer friends.
Notes:
🍃 Please arrive before 7pm out of respect for our readers.
🍃 A clue to our secret location is that the closest train station is Southern Cross :) Street and paid parking is available nearby.
🍃 The building is accessible with a lift.
🍃 This is a private venue, with limited drinks and canapés available. You are welcome to BYO drinks and food! Please take all your rubbish with you <3
