An engineer by profession, Seth has worked his way to become a business leader having experienced five different industries in four different continents over three decades, including the world’s largest oil refinery. With the closure of AGL’s Liddel Power Station, Seth’s role as Head of Generation has changed again. His challenge in the future will be heading up the Hunter Energy Hub (AGL).

AGL’s aim is to transform all its fossil fuel centres– in the Hunter Valley where Liddell and Bayswater are based, in South Australia where the Torrens Island gas hub is based, and in Victoria with the highly polluting Loy Yang A – into new green energy and industrial hubs.

Seth will talk about the closure of Liddel and the repurposing of the site as an industrial renewable energy hub.
