Lebanese Feast with Chef Sally Ruhl
Event description
Take a trip across the ocean! Join Chef Sally Ruhl and learn the secrets of Lebanse cuisine. In this hands-on cooking class, students will enjoy baba bhanoush, hummus, flatbread, pickled vegetables, veggie kibbeh, tabbouleh, farro pilaf in baked tomatoes, rack of lamb, orange blossom flan and ma'amoul.
About the Chef:
Chef Sally Ruhl has worked with some of the most celebrated people in the food industry, including Julia Child, Alice Waters, and cookbook author and chef-owner of China Moon Cafe, Barbara Tropp who taught Sally the art of Chinese cooking.
The class will take place in Apples To Zucchini’s teaching kitchen, with dinner to follow in the garden. Wine will accompany the dinner.
Please wear close-toed shoes, as we will be in a commercial kitchen.
Bring a wrap or jacket for outdoor dining. In the event of inclement weather, we will dine indoors.
